Currently there are five ways to add colour to your keepsake jewellery & keepsakes.
Sparkle pigment ~ The sparkle pigment I use here at Forever in my heart is ethnically sourced LAB made mica. I decided to switch to lab made mica after I read that children as young as five (my second youngest daughters age) are forced to work in mica mines and are descended deep underground to cut mica by hand. It broke my heart. I cant support that! The lab made mica I use has lots of light reflecting particles and flakes. Its absolutley gorgeous. It can be mixed with your loved ones ashes and also makes an amazing backdrop for hair and fur. It comes in eleven gorgeous colours and these colours can be mixed to make more shades making the colour options endless.
Crushed Abalone seashells~ Just like gemstones and Crystal's, abalone shells also own special properties. Abalone help calm and soothe emotions, helps us deal with emotional turmoil, enhancing feelings of peace, love and compassion which makes it a perfect choice for memorial pieces. Crushed abalone has a stunning pearlescent colour that change so many shades in different lights. The shells are hand picked along with your loved ones ashes and placed with love and care into your jewellery.
Sparkling glass chips~ These mirror glass chips give off an amazing light reflecting shine and sparkle. They vary in size from 0.5mm to 2mm and give your piece an amazing unique look. Each chip is selected by hand and carefully placed into your jewellery along with your loved ones ashes or any other inclusions.
Sparkling glass chards~ Just like the glass chips the chards have high shine, light reflecting colour that twinkle and shine in different light. The shards are not rounded like the chips giving a different look to your piece. These can be used on their own or along side the glass chips to give a different depth to your piece and a stunning unique look. Mix and match colours if you like.
Opal~ The opal I use is ethically sourced lab made opal. What is lab made opal? The mineral composition of simulated opals are created through a process similar to what nature does beneath the earth, but in a lab, meaning lab made opal is chemically identical to natural opal just less expensive making it an affordable choice ๐ For an extra ยฃ3 your jewellery stone can be made with crushed opal along with your precision inclusion. Check out the 'Add ons' option. Come in a large variety of colours.
